  Kohl's has been in a slide for years, but I just had the proverbial icing on the cake experience and will never shop there again. I just attempted to make a return from Christmas - a fleece vest that I will never wear. The price tag on my item is $50, and there are no other markings on the garment. I did not have a receipt. Because Kohl's can't hit their revenue metrics other ways, they have commenced a ridiculous clearance sale, storewide, where my item is now marked under $10. They first tried to make the return at that value without saying a word about the differential. They then told me that their POS can't track by skew for the transaction history (and price point) for that particular item. They then told me that MY MOTHER IS VERY INCONSIDERATE (verbatim) for not giving me a gift receipt with the item that was gifted. This is a transparent JOKE, Kohl's. Anyone with half a brain cell sees the desperate game you're attempting to play here. Seems like Kohl's is stuck with highway robbery and shifty business practice to make ends meet. With any luck, this is the last year we'll all suffer that before the inevitable bankruptcy. Your broader industry is in trouble, Kohl's. But, you are doomed with this flotsam for business practice. Good riddance.

  My car had broken down in their parking lot. So while I waited for someone to get me, I walked around the store and it was clean and organized. All the staff I was in contact with were very helpful and friendly. I did end up calling the manager to ask if it was ok for my car to sit their for a day so without it being towed. They were very understanding. I would definitely recommend this place.
